Release Date: October, 28th, 2008
TAT: n. rubbish, trash, 'an old load of tat' (orig. unkn.)
TAT: n. a 3 piece, female fronted, rock band. (orig. London Town)
Straight from London, TAT first conquered the UK’s underground scene, selling 10,000 records independently. They then got together with US producer Russ-T Cobb (The Academy Is.., Sevendust, Hot Hot Heat etc) to record their debut album due for an October 28 US release.
TAT played the 2006 Warped Tour where they were originally set to play 8 dates, but were offered the rest of the tour totaling 28 shows. This started to build their fan base and soon great opportunities came their way, including support tours with The Bouncing Souls, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, and NOFX in 2007 in Europe.
In three years TAT has played over 200 hundred shows including supports with The Offspring, Therapy?, an arena tour of Poland, Reading Festival 2004 and Download Festival 2005. Their debut single, Peace Sex and Tea, charted in the UK's top 100 as did their second single, Pessimist, live from Reading Festival, which entered the UK BBC Rock Chart at #18.
TAT is currently selling a preview EP at shows and online at iTunes. They are on the road playing Warped Tour, followed by a number of dates with Lagwagon and MXPX, in support of their debut album to be released this October. The album will be self-released on the band-owned label (name TBA), through Sony/RED distribution.
