Tic Tic Boom! at Bootleg Theater

TicTicBoom

The emerging indie synth-pop band Tic Tic Boom! is the creative convergence of Mike DeLay and Leilani Francisco. With music that has been referred to as “electro-pop-tacular”, the band strives to make anthemic soundscapes containing elements drawn from indie rock, new wave and punk.

Tic Tic Boom!’s recently released EP Reasons & Rhymes is the by-product of six months spent locked away in DeLay and Francisco’s live/work studio, hidden in the hills of Hollywood, CA. Writing as they recorded, playing all instruments themselves, self-producing along the way, Mike and Leilani totally embraced their DIY ethos. To support their live performance DeLay and Francisco have recently been joined by Morrison Nichols on drums and Matt Gurgol on bass.

Catch their FREE LA show at the Bootleg Theater Wednesday, April 20th @ 9:30 pm
with Old Scholar, and Tyler Steele and the Helping Thieves
