Said the Whale (@SaidtheWhale) are preparing for their March 6 album release of Little Mountain (Hidden Pony/EMI) by regularly offering videos as exclusives, coinciding with 13 of the 15 album tracks. The video for “Big Sky, MT” is the first U.S. premiere and second in the series, and has been unveiled via Consequence of Sound (@CoSLive). The storyline closely follows the vivid lyrical imagery of the song, which depicts the unconditional love between a child and its grandfather. This follows last week’s debut of the iPhone-inspired video for“We Are 1980” via Exclaim. The band partnered with Vancouver-based production company Amazing Factory to help them re-imagine their songs into vignettes, and eleven more are set to debut each Tuesday through the arrival of Said the Whale’s third full-length, and beyond.
