Dynamite Walls and Ringside Hitting The Roxy March 31st

Making a huge buzz  on KROQ’s Locals Only playlist, KROQ will be presenting Ringside and Dynamite walls at The Roxy on March 31st. Dynamite Wall’s “Keep Spinning Around” and Ringside’s “This Time” have been in heavy rotation in the past few weeks and are hoping to bring that noise to the stage March 31st.

Ringside’s single “This Time” comes from the self-release Lost Days. Ringside’s self-titled debut album was released over five years ago, but within months of the promotion of the album, singer and songwriter Scott Thomas broke his back. Despite the great responses to the album, it’s taken him five years to get back on track. Kevin Bronson from Buzzbands.la sums it up, calling Lost Days a, “big comeback album for frontman Scott Thomas, who turns his travails of the past five years into the stuff rock stars are made of.” The album is co-produced by Balthazar Getty and includes guest performances from Ben Harper, Ozomotli, Brian Bell from Weezer, and many more.

Dynamite Wall’s single “Keep Spinning Around” is off of their album Chemicals, slated to be released later this year. This five-piece indie rock band out of sunny San Diego, CA was recently signed to Universal Republic after four years of hard work, three EPs, two full-lengths, and a US tour with Jukebox the Ghost. The band has received recognition in their home town, having won Best Pop Band at the 2010 San Diego Music Awards and was described by NBC San Diego as, “an indie, alternative rock sound, likened to INXS or Coldplay, only bolder with a delightfully rancorous edge.” They just returned from making waves in Austin at SXSW and are ready to bring new energy to their home state.
