Julie The Band’s, Wild As The Sky creatively combines soulful Americana blending the influences of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Ryan Adams. Starting off as old high school friends in Los Angeles, Frontman Nathan Blumenfeld and Dustin Bath joined forces to bring feeling of the American landscape, and life on the road into the life of their songs. After recording the album in Venice, CA, Julie The Band keeps the raw sound recordings of the studio. “It was important to us when recording to capture the live sound in the room so you can feel like you are there with us.” Throwing some Banjo and a taste of Slide Guitar to this album Julie The Band releases their first video for Wild As The Sky called, “Working For The Wind.”
