Even though San Cisco put a lethal firearm in the name of their new EP, along with slightly scary vintage art cover, their music couldn’t be further from these images. The band is comprised of four 18-year olds from western Australia, a quartet with a laid back lifestyle that includes playing Nintendo 64 and skateboarding.
You can see and feel the sunshine of Australia while listening to Golden Revolver, which undoubtedly had a strong hand in influencing the included five tracks. On one hand, it’s adorable indie pop, but the band has proven to be true professionals as well by performing at some of the most important festivals in their home country.
XFM London’s Mike Walsh echoes with this comment: “If this song was brought to me as the next Vampire Weekend single, I would not be disappointed.”
