Planetary Group’s Charity Work

At Planetary Group, supporting the music community extends far beyond our day-to-day work. Throughout our history, we’ve been proud to contribute our time, expertise, and industry relationships to charitable initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Most recently, Planetary has supported the radio promotion efforts for HELP (2), the latest benefit compilation from War Child Records, featuring an extraordinary collection of artists united in support of children affected by conflict around the world. We have also donated promotional services to charitable music projects, including Hit The Pole, a holiday compilation benefiting Palestinian Children’s Relief. Giving back has long been part of our culture.

Following the tragic loss of a former Planetary team member, we helped organize a benefit concert that raised funds for a scholarship established in her honor at Smith College. Earlier in our history, we organized and promoted more than 25 benefit concerts featuring over 100 artists to assist beloved Boston radio personality and music promoter Mikey D during a serious illness.

Those events raised more than $100,000 and ultimately helped establish a fund that continues to support musicians facing medical hardships. Whether through fundraising, advocacy, or donating promotional services, Planetary Group remains committed to strengthening the music community and supporting causes that reflect the values of the artists, organizations, and people we serve.  Below are a few articles highlighting our chartiable and non-profit work over the years.
