The Grammy nominations for 2010 were announced last night and we’re proud to report that three of the artist we’ve worked with in 2010 have been nominated for awards! Alongside Lady Gaga, Eminem, and Arcade Fire, Margaret Cho, Cyndi Lauper, and Eastern Conference Champions (as part of the Twilight soundtrack) have been recognized for their hard work and talent.

Cho Dependent

Margaret Cho’s new musical comedy album, Cho Dependent, was named as one of the Grammy nominees for Best Comedy Album, along with albums from Flight of the Conchords, Kathy Griffin, Lewis Black and Robin Williams. Guest vocals on the album include Andrew Bird on “I’m Sorry,” Ben Lee on “Lice,” and Tegan and Sara on “Intervention” with a brand new video.

Cyndi Lauper’s Memphis Blues has been nominated in the Best Traditional Blues Album Vocal or Instrumental category. Other artists nominated for this category in 2010 include James Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite, Pinetop Perkins & Willie ‘Big Eyes’ Smith, and Jimmie Vaughan. This is Cyndi’s 14th nomination including the nomination for her last album Bring Ya To The Brink in 2009.

Eastern Conference Champions‘ track “A Million Miles an Hour” is featured on the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack and the album has been honored with a Grammy nod.
